放射性核種の大気放出と大気中動態の理解の現状Recent Understanding on the Release of Radionuclides and Their Behavior in the Atmosphere

This article reviews recent studies on the atmospheric behavior of radionuclides released from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident to give an overview of the present understanding on the temporal evolution of the release from the plant, the atmospheric concentration and the simulation by atmospheric dispersion models. Atmospheric concentrations of radionuclides are still being retrieved from environmental samples collected at the time of the accident. Research is being carried out on composition and physicochemical properties of radioactive materials from the environmental samples to understand their behavior in the atmosphere.
