The measurements of secondary neutron production cross sections from heavy-ion interactions play a key role in the development of transport model calculations that are used in a wide variety of applications. We briefly describe and highlight experiments conducted at HIMAC since the late 1990’s that measured secondary neutron cross sections over a wide variety of beam species, beam energies, and heavy target materials.
